How to go from 1 user to 1 million users on your webapp
Kevin Rose from Digg did a presentation about how to go from 1 user to 1 million users:

- Don't add features that do not give (emotional) rewards to the user. Don't bloat.
- Create a simple follow mechanism.
- Get plugged by Ashton and Lindsay. It's sad, but works.
- Publish leaderboards.
- Build & Release quickly, don't assume you understand what your users will do.
- Hack the press, invite only, talk to junior bloggers.
- Podcast.
- Get advisers, especially for tech problems when expanding.
- Get users to spam their friends (facebook)
- Create a share API to serve buttons on 3rd party sites.
- Analyze traffic

Poster for El Calambre
I've been working on a poster for El Calambre, a film my wife has been involved in. I had to rebuild the sky over about half of the poster and then try to add grain in just the right way to emulate the noise in the rest of the picture. I'm fairly pleased with the results, although it's a bit traditional and not overly creative. This will be the official poster for the world premier in the Morelia film festival some time in October. It's too late to make any major adjustments, but if you find some glaring mistake please let me know.
